Places to visit

Faizabad City and Ayodhya dham is twin city and the administrative headquarters is Ayodhya district of Uttar Pradesh, India. It shares municipal corporation with it's twin town. Ayodhya is identified with the legendary of Ayodhya dham and it is the birthplace of Ram Bhagwan.

Chhoti Devkali Temple


This temple is associated with several tales from the Ramayana and is situated near Naya Ghat. As per mythology, Mother Sita after her wedding with Lord Rama arrived in Ayodhya with an idol of goddess Girija Devi. King Dashrath got a beautiful temple constructed for the idol and Mother Sita used to worship the Devi in the temple. An impressive statue of Goddess Devkali, the local deity, is present now.


Hanuman Garhi

Hanuman Garhi is one of the most popular temples in the region. Legend has it that Lord Hanuman used to live here to protect Ayodhya. Set amidst shops selling religious articles and besan laddoos, visitors are required to park a short distance away and take a walled-in flight of over 70 steps to reach the temple.The sanctum is stocked with profusely painted pillars, brackets, and stucco figures. The main temple houses a statue of Mata Anjani and Bal Hanuman seated on her lap.

On 5th August 2020, when PM Shri Narendra Modi ji will be in Ayodhya to inaugurate the construction of Shri Ram Janmbhoomi Mandir, it will be the most historic moment in the history of independent India. The event will be telecasted LIVE on Doordarshan. Other channels will also broadcast the telecast.

Our appeal to Sant Samaj and Shri Rambhakts across globe:

◆ We appeal to all pujya Sant-Mahatma and Shri Ram bhakts across the globe to do Samuhik Pujan & Bhajan-Kirtan with their family, friends & the society, between 11:30 AM to 12:30 PM.

◆ Arrangements may be made for LIVE webcast in a large hall or auditorium. Rambhakts may decorate their houses, villages, markets, mandir, ashrams & distribute prasad.

◆ In the evening, there should be Deep mala everywhere. We may also resolve to donate for Mandir nirman.

◆ All possible precautions to check the spread of Corona must be strictly followed.

◆ Coming to Ayodhya in present circumstances can cause huge inconvenience, hence everyone is requested to stay where they are & celebrate this grand occasion of historic importance.

Buses are frequently available from Lucknow,Delhi and Gorakhpur. Buses are also available from Varanasi, Allahabad and other places as per their schedule.
